About Good Ground
Good Ground Construction and Earthworks made its debut in February 2004 when owner operator Michael Brown bought his first bobcat to retrieve firewood and clean up his family property in Lilydale, Victoria.
Growing up on rural land and a love for working outside, Michael decided that he would sell off his other business and venture into earthmoving. With the addition of an excavator and truck Mike Brown Earthworks had begun.
As time progressed the machinery was upgraded and 2 larger trucks added to the line up.
With the growing workload the business found it necessary to employ extra people and take on construction work along side Earthmoving to further satisfy the needs of property developers and building companies requiring alterations to structures above new property boundaries.
This also led to the business name change to Good Ground Construction and Earthworks.
